I am not a rookie but I do have a question reguarding strength for a kicker. My kicker is stregth of 14. He is 4.5 star talent with 18 cons. I was thinking of incresing his strength to become a back up OL. Just curious if this is going to hurt me in the kicking game. I understand that for QB it would.

I do not think that the current engine adds "negative points" for training a skill.
Afa QB is concerned , I thought that was for the next engine where heavy players would not be able to pass because their weight would not be muscle but be fat and solidified bacon grease

Dont think it will, its a question for another engine anyway, right now it doesnt matter. If too high strength matters for the next engine, just make him lose so much weight that BMI will limit him to 13 strength - problem solved

So just to be crystal clear on this - strength has zero effect on K/Ps ?

I think it does matter, but just not to the extent that we wish.

All I can see is that there is a direct link between how far you can kick and how high your kicking or punting is...

Strength does not seam to matter as much...

I would say that statement is true - zero effect Would love to see proof for something else though, dont think its out there..

I have a 5* BPOS, 8 K/P, 13 str, 20 cons kicker if anyone has something that is comparable..

But as mentioned, I dont think anything but K/P and BPOS matters, and of course cons to be quite sure he will make those within the 40..
