Who makes the intelligence check?

Good question...

I have a feeling about it being random, but are we sure that there is a check for INT? Seriously... it would be the easiest check in the world.

I just learned something new (it makes my brain hurt). I have always played my smartest LB at MLB or in some cases double MLB since I have two smart ones.

yeah i've got 2 smarties also. so it hasn't worried me.

the problem would be if you had one high int ILB and one low int ILB, that when the smart one is injured, you may be in trouble.

but then again with the low frequency of injuries, it ain't much of an issue.

or one of your OLB is a smarty also, and just more him to ILB if an injury occurs.

But I still fail to see how the INT of an MLB should influence how the defence plays.

I mean - there is only _one_ pass play in the book. Plays could be sent either way depending on the tactics set by the offense, but I would like a list of things the MLB does choose...

If the game is built so the MLB can opt to play man-man, cover 2 or who to blitz, why the H*** can't I make that decision in the tactics. If it is an option for the MLB and not visible to me, I would be greatly dissapointed and will react by cuddling up in my bed with my teddy bear and hold him firmly... for a while!

From what I understood, it's as simple as someone yelling pass or run.
slightly improves your chance to diagnose the play.
