I have added two Tight Ends, Calum Spencer and Harrison Madden to the players I would say could probably get by in the National team. Madden's skills look especially well-rounded. Spencer's skills are a little bit more 'diverse', as he has 15 passing and 17 carrying to his repertoire, but he might come in handy given that one of our reserve TEs is retiring next week, and we could do with some more cover in that area.

This is just something for the next NT manager to consider of course.

I just bought Spencer, I'll be honest and admit I didn't see the 15 in passing, a bit strange to train that. His tactical skill and stamina are a bit low, so I will be training these up so hopefully he be more ready for NT soon.

The manager of Mammoth was kind enough to mail me some of his British prospects last Monday. I've added them to the list. The most promising is probably Blair Russell.

How essential is it to be a 5 star BPOS?

I have a player who will only be a 4.5* BPOS (4* Talent), cornerback. Will be 20 speed (currently 19 but not capped), 15 strength (capped) and still only 18 years old.

Player ID: 1384438

At the top tiers (Top Div and Div ii) you would probably struggle a bit with a 4 star talent, but there are still some good ones at that level.
BPOS seems to be most important, and that means 4.5 or 5 star. With 20 speed and decent strength, if the skills are evenly trained, could still use easily at Div iii and below.

In terms of the national teams, I have been one of the least forgiving managers to players below 5* in rating - only players at 4.5* who are close to perfect in their stats, and in less glamourous positions, have got into my team. But that's not to say that managers later on won't be interested. 4* talent can still be redeemed with good physicals and knowledgeable training.

I've got a couple of promising players.

Firstly, at QB, Brandon Lee deMarrais
20 Years old. 4.5* Talent. 18 Intel. 15 Consistency. 7 Passing and 5 Vision, though these are both being focused on now. (He started off with 2 passing for me and I haven't long had training hall and coaches) Has 4* Bpos at QB. I doubt he'll ever start for the NT, but he may be on the roster one day

Secondly, currently a DL, Reuben Russell
18 Years old. 4.5* Talent. 17 Speed and 17 Strength. Strength is currently capped. 7 Intel and 11 Consistency. Not sure if I should make him into a TE, or if his Speed doesn't cap a CB.

I do also have some other 4.5* Talents. A capped 16 Spd/17 Str Gunner, a 16 Spd capped CB with uncapped 15 Str, and an uncapped 13 Spd 10 Str OL, but he's 20 and has no decent skills either. But I doubt they'll be NT material.

Hi there. Just noticed this thread for the 1st time.

Here's my British 4.5/5* players with useful physicals. They are being developed broadly, therefore no NT material for at least another 2 seasons.

WR Christopher Gourlay - Talent 4.5 - SPE 17 - STR 14
TE Charly Fowler - Talent 4.5 - SPE 18 - STR 15
TE Tyler James Mitchell - Talent 4.5 - SPE 20 - STR 15

CB Joshua David Mollison - Talent 5 - SPE 19 - STR 13
SF Ian Hyde - Talent 4.5 - SPE 20 - STR 12

Fred Porter - 5* BPOS QB, 17 intel, 19 consistency. Key skills are 11-12. 6'3" if that ever matters. Would be my eventual number 2 or 3, so listing here in case I sell him.

Have and/or sold a few beast 4.5* BPOS Brits too. 20/15 CBs, 15/20 OL, 16/19 MLB with 16 intel, 17/18 LB with 20 intel, etc.
