I hired 1 Offensive coach with 20 in Attacking, then I hired a Defensive coach with 7 in Defending. Why is only my defending coach showing up?

You can't hire them 1 at a time. You have to set it to what you're hiring and purchase. What you probably did was buy 1 Offensive 20 coach, and then went back and hired 1 Defensive coach at 7. When you did that the Offensive coach was at 1 though... so.... you got a 1 Offensive coach and a 7 defensive coach.

I think it was designed that way, but man... sure sucks that you can't train just 1 coach at a time instead of all of them.

I'd post it in bugs.. even if it "isn't" - that's a really big blow to lose a level 20 trainer like that... and I can bet that it'll happen again if something doesn't happen.

THis is why I like to think of it as "coach" even when it says Coaches. If they change that misnomer, this whole thing clears up imo.

actually, I'd prefer they only allow you to increase the coach skills using the "hire" button.. and add a second button for "fire" which only allows you to decrease the skills... And treat it as a team.

Even if the term isn't quite accurate or make sense with the paying of bonuses - atleast it wouldn't result in people mistakenly firing when they tried to hire.

It's a pretty serious downer to come to that realization. Hopefully admin can help him out with that. To save up all that money only to have it... gone. Youch.

Ugh, that makes me so sick to my stomach. I was waiting for my bonus money so that I could buy coaches to train my players. I saved all my players' training progression numbers in Windows so that I would know how well their training increased when I bought the supporter account.

I can't believe all that bonus money that I spent was spent on a coach that I'll never even get to see. I went to the FAQ page and it didn't say how many coaches you could have so I thought that you could just continue buying them to improve your team's training.

Right now the Staff page is labeled as "Coach Team". When I went to the Staff Page before, the heading on the coaches was labeled as "Coaches". I did save the page in Windows though so I could show our Admins what happened.

This recent title change to "Coach Team" makes me think that our admins are a very responsive and caring group concerning customer service. Goal Line Blitz, on the other hand, they don't care about their customers' concerns and that's why I'm about to stop paying them $700 a year for my team and players. I'm glad that we have a team of Admins here that can see a problem and fix it so quickly, it makes me think that they are on top of things here and I really like that.

I hope that they can also fix the damage that happened to my team so that I can continue with my team's training plan and purchase of a supporter account. If I had to lose $90,000, the 20 points in offensive coaching, and the 7 points in defensive coaching that I bought before the training deadline, my team's plan would be ruined. It seems like the admins here though are very responsive and will fix the problem so I'm not that worried about it.

As long as I can continue on my team's training plan and not lose the training points that my players would have gotten from buying those coaches, I'll be buying a supporter account. I like this game a lot so far and it seems that the admins are quick to understand their customer's concerns.

Does anyone know where I can get a hold of an admin? I would really like to get this resolved soon so I can start playing this game with all the features the supporter account gives me.

this really needs to be changed
on my first day i did something similar.
really stupid the way it is set up.
i think by default when you go to staff page that buying a new coach, all the current coach number is there

On mine it does show the current coach numbers - but it is just as easy to misinterpret this to think that you are buying more levels. Like if you buy 5 levels of fitness coach and then go back to buy 5 more.

The interface definitely needs changing - but there are a number of very different ways to go about doing so, all depending on what the "feel" of the interface should be. One example would be to just develop like 10 "preset" coaches and have the teams choose between them. Give those coaches names and stats. It would be easy to understand, and while it's more restricting - it wouldn't lead to situations like this one.
