Not too bad a group, but not easy either. Russia ranked 7 and Denmark ranked 9.

However, there aren't quite as many Russian teams around these days and their squad is quite old (a few members will have been in decline). They do have a rockstar starting QB though. Denmark are pretty strong and their head coach takes the game pretty seriously. They'll probably be the biggest challenge.

Sweden on the other hand have managed to turn up with both an old and inexperienced squad at the same time. Could be games we can experiment a little.

As always we get a tough group. Only 2 of 8 groups per cycle have 2 top 10 ranked teams in them. What's the odds of getting 1 of those 2 groups 4 cycles in a row? Just gotta get the wins.

Wouldn't mind one of those 5 nation groups sometime also. An extra 80-100 points towards our ranking would be good.

Loved the whole game, except the last 19 seconds.

Now on to Russia. The real work begins.

BTW, we are winning our group. Hopefully still in 7 days time also.
