it seems like the only way to get fitness up is to train low intensity for the WHOLE team. i currently have a new player i bought that is crazy good stats (high str, blocking and 5 star talent). he has 39% fitness though. is there anyway i can get him up without costing the rest of the team training? if not i guess ill just have to bench him one season.

No other way I'm affraid. 39% is a killer. Did you not consider this whilst bidding for him?

Not for the moment. Admins have talked about adding a feature where you can rest a player and give him no training, but it's not in yet.
Best bet is stick him to 1 side and wait for that option, don't ruin your whole team's training switching to Low just to get one guy back up to 100%.

I can't wait for them to make the change to individual player training intensities... It makes a lot more sense and will help in the training of all your players I think.

Thankfully, they're not making individual player training intensity!

Yet.... they are thankfully considering it. I would love that option. That way players with a fitness of 35% can basically be told to sit their asses down and drink vita shakes while the rest of the team works out as normal.

Thankfully? Just curious how you could not want that.

Currently, one player gets tired, the whole team suffers for a few weeks while training on low just to get that one player back to normal. Being able to set individual intensity would mean that that one player can train low or not at all, get healthy again, and the rest of the team can go about normal business. Sounds good to me.

Nah, it's been brought up a couple of times and we finally compromised...

I think it takes a challenging aspect out of the game...
