Thanks, everyone!

Yeah -- let's hope we fare a little better in this campaign, huh?

Naturally, I'll be evaluating the entire roster and seeing the areas where we'll need upgrades (or get younger). If you think you have a player who might be a good candidate for the team, send any applicable info my way, and I'll take a look at them.

In a day or two I'll post what positions the team needs to get improve and where their might be some battles for starting spots.

Lastly, if anyone has any suggestions in terms of the best formations which would maximize our changes of success, send me a PM. I'm very serious about avenging last season's lose, which means that I am open to any suggestions which may increase the likelihood of bringing the gold back to the USA!

If anyone is sitting on a young, QB of the future, give me a heads up. He wouldn't have to fully developed, of course; just as long as the key attributes are there (minimum 6'2"; minimum 17 CON; minimum 18 INT; good strength cap).
Naturally, he wouldn't start this season if he's not fully developed -- that's not the point. The point would be to have him on the roster for future seasons to more easily keep tabs on his progress, until he's eventually ready to play.

Otherwise, we have a bad need for Safetys, CBs and LBs. Additionally, we have a great need to get younger at those positions as well. So, again, if you have a hot prospect, send his info my way and we'll add him to the squad (or at least get him in the database).

Well.. that was a bittersweet loss.

I'm sad because the US lost...
I'm ecstatic because the Lagniappe QB led NZ to a huge upset win!

Just my opinion.. but 3 WR's is probably a waste of effort.
I saw you put 2 wide-outs left and one to the right and tried to throw to the right side only. I just don't think the current game engine is smart enough to notice that and be fooled by it. You can kind of tell how the engine works on the first interception play. That INT was made by their left side free safety on a short 7 yard pass to our right side TE.

I guess it's possible that the TE went across the field to the left side, but the tackle was also made by our right side FB.. so who knows. I think it ends up being more random than anything else.

Oh, wow, I think I might have made the mistake of changing to the 3 OL set, but accidentally left the only throw to one side order on... That must have been it, since I was going to go with the Darkwing but forget to make all the right changes. I really feel awful -- I just have to remember to be more careful from here on.

Wow. What a game. And a must needed win at that. Jeez, should that game have been that close?

Woo! Big match today! Anyone have any last minute suggestions to offer up?

Also, I think I might have found part of the problem on the defensive side of the ball, which was brought about by an oversight that I made earlier. Hopefully, this helps things.

Whatever you did on defense seems to be working. Nice start to the match!

Ha. Yeah. There was a HUGE oversight on my part. I wish I would have corrected it sooner, but, what can you? Thanks for the positive words!

I still don't know why I'm not getting better QB play, in the form of yards per catch/completion percentage. Any suggestions?
