what do you think is the optimal composition of coach??

should i have 5 attacking, 5 defending, and so on??what is the impact actually??

and what about the doctors??

Optimal composition of coaches? That's simple - Get 20 of one thing and train all of your Players in that one group until you can afford 20 of another group.

As for the impact of Coaches - having 10 coaches is the same as having an additional 20 teamwork... for every player that trains in that group. Coaches are, without a doubt, the best bang for a buck you can get with relatively low wages but very large benefit. Problem is getting past that "you must have 10 wages in bank" message which is infuriating.

that 10 weeks of wages thing is actually a very very good idea. it does two things.

slows down team development-which is good because the teams develop so incredibly quickly here.

makes a more firm reality of the money that the coach will actually cost- I forsee a lot of teams over buying in the offseason. Hopefully the wage rule will help out with that

I guess the question is really, for a given salary, what's the best setup for a coach?

Is it better to have 20 in one skill or 10 in two skills?

Personally, unless you were training Kickers/Punters...I don't think it worth upgrading Kicking. As far as the other 4 area, I think you could make a case for all of them depending on how you evaluated players.

I guess the follow up question is -- is training profitable or just to improve your team?

we have yet to see if training is profitable or not. The market is certainly healthy for the relatively small userbase. but the question remains how much will fully trained players bring in?

In my opinion at this time it is better to maximize one type of training than to Spread the wealth, unless you have the cash to afford the uber coach. you're better served to focus on a skill group and maximize that for the given target group of players (and trainees for selling) and buying the things you need. This will ensure both the health of your team and the market by providing fully trained players that are out there for people to purchase.

I've advocated a skill limiting system for coaches before, to ensure the future viability of training and selling players, but really there wasn't much movement behind the idea.

SO from my perspective, unless you can afford the coach with multiple 15+ stats one stat at 20 is better than two stats at 10. both for your team and the market.

The scenario that seems most likely to me is:
Team has money to start the season, and doesn't really need to buy Players to fill out the roster - so they buy up a bunch of trainers, and then dump money into the stadium. A team with 300k can probably get level 20 of 2 training types, and then dump almost all of that back into the stadium... this is what I see a lot of teams doing, or attempting to do.

Not sure that I would call this overbuying - as teams can easily get 200k per week in income and will need a fraction of this for wages.
