So on Monday night I browsed the list of friendly adverts and challenged a few sides to play me next week. Later on, still without a game, I posted an advert.

The following day I logged on. Ten challenges - great!! However all ten had disappeared from my list. "Obviously", thought Squarebear the Genius, "all ten have found other opponents". Tonight I re-read the friendly adverts and attempted to issue challenges. But every team I clicked on already had a game.

Next I began trawling through all the teams in Division V. Imagine my astonishment to find every team I checked had already arranged a game. Division after division I checked, but all their challenge buttons were greyed out.

Then and only then the penny dropped. I checked my forthcoming fixtures and discovered one of the sides I'd initially challenged on Monday night must have accepted my challenge. Doh.

Yeah I done that also.

Also been there and done that. At least there is the friendly to make you feel better about yourself.
