Hey everybody,

Match orders gives you the opportunity to decide at which range the kicker should get a chance to boot the ball between the uprights, so I searched after distance of field goals made in games, but I can´t seem to find any ?...

How far will a level 7 kicker(kicking skill 7)cinsistently be able to make field goals from?

And what does the rush option mean?

One of the confusing things is this setting. The distance to kick the ball is the distance from ball placement AFTER the snap, not the Line of Scrimmage. So if your team is at the 30 Yard line he will kick from the 37 yard line. (Should be the 47 yard line, but that will be fixed next season) So if you have kick from 30 yards out you will not kick it since the ball placement is more than 30 yards.

Right now I haven't seen very many field goals at all. I went looking for some in the top tier... I would say that as of right now it's hard to hit from even 30 yards out.

My longest so far is around 30, and my only miss is from 39.

As of now, I'd personally set it 30 and in, that puts you on the 23 yard line. But, I'd also play around with things in friendlies and if you notice that you make one from further out, then go ahead and do what you think is best.

I'm looking to get record distance in my next friendly. I have it set to always try on 4th down. Should prove interesting at least.

What does the distance in the match orders mean? Let's say, the line of scrimmage is 25 yards. The kick would take place from the 32 yard line. Does that mean a field goal attempt will take place when you set Attempt a field goal on 4th down < 30 yards?

Under those circumstance, no it wouldn't. The 30 includes the extra 7 yards. You'd kick it with the ball on the 23 or less with that setting.

Next season, remember that the field goal distances will be figured properly. So, if you are on the 13 yard line, that would be a 30 yard field goal. (line of scrimmage + 7 yards for snap + 10 yards for endzone)
