I'd have to say that footwork, speed, and strength are needed for both DE's and DT's. But the levels to which they are needed are different.

Footwork is important to both I'd say. Personally, for DE's, I like to have speed and for DT's I like more strength. And don't forget about vision, positioning, tackling, etc.

Footwork 7 Catching 5 Agility 7
Carrying 2 Kicking 3 Stamina 1

Got pretty good starting stats
7 positioning, tackling, vision, agility, footwork, great consistency, str and speed. also has 3.5 stars talent.
One big problem though, he is an idiot. 1 INTEL!

The thing i think may have the most impact though is natural position bonus
in both games ive played so far, the DL that is natural DLineman has gotten 8 and 7 tackles in the games.

Great game! But, he could come back the next and get 1 tackle while the other team runs 40 times. Not taking anything away from his game, it's just until he backs it up for a little it could always be a fluke.

well he did have 8 tackles the previous game. But yea its too early to tell
