I've seen older players than 30 yet one of my players has this written under his possible positions:

"plans to retire from pro-football after this season is over."

I have no control over that at all?

This seems a good place for this question -- if a Player is scheduled to retire at the end of the season, is it possible to just go ahead and fire them? Or do we have to pay their wages even though we just hired their replacement?

You can not fire a player that is going to retire.

Heck, I have two of them that are costing me around $4,000 a week!
