A Bot flush would help but it might make it harder to be a new player as you are going to lose a lot of early games to more experienced human players and that also impacts on the economy of team here. I haven't seen the Bot flush happen in RZA yet as I wasn't paying too much attention to my team there last season.

I think both games have pluses and minuses. For instance I hate the huge run of time without meaningful games in RZA. The post season is far too long for me there. I also prefer GI in how easy it is to drag info into excel. The learning curve is also very steep. I've been playing since October and still don't really know what I'm doing!

The game engine in RZA is far superior however. GI needs to step it up considerably in the GE3 upgrade to catch up.

Interesting ! ... I could chat with you for ages about GI vs RZA, but the GI forum isn't really the place !
send me a PM with your team name and conference/division in RZA, I'll have a look over at RZA.
I'm really really new at RZA, but I'm doing OK and I'm liking RZA more and more

For some reason I thought wanting that to be a pm would make it so. It's already been a long Friday!

Wow, for a 2.2 that is one hell of a tough conference - ZERO Bots !
but you've won your Div and obviously know what you're doing !

my div is Dragons 2.2 AC North .... only started 24 days ago, so glad to have got a wildcard spot, I've got a lot to learn !!

p.s. - why didn't you apply for the UK national team manager ?

I have been unable to get excited about the world cup part of this game so not really interested in doing the National job. Plus there are alot of better candidates than me.

Also I have my own ideas on how to build/set-up a team. I'm not sure you can have that when you are relying on a lot of other managers for help.

My RZA season is going ok but promotion is beyond me, a bot flush promotion would probably lead to a lot of defeats. I'm just taking it a step at a time. Once my stadium is built I'll add coaches and facilities and then start concentrating more on my team. I do seem to have landed in a good division. I'm just struggling to spend enough time on it.

Good luck in RZA .....I'll possibly challenge you for a friendly if/when I get knocked out of the playoffs, one of those Tues/Sat friendlies that generate income when you're no longer playing League.
My stadium is currently zero (!) but will be 49,000 tomorrow.

Cheers

I thought teams only go bot on Wednesday around the economy update (unless it's for cheating). So it is 21 days plus however long to the following Wednesday.

Is this wrong?

I think you're probably correct , I saw an inactive team in my Division looking likely to go Bot, eventually it was slightly longer than 21 days before they went Bot.

Is it just me or do more lower division teams seem to be going Bot than ever before ? I've looked at several Div V leagues and there seems to be SO many bot teams, has it always been like that ?

It's not a Wednesday thing. A team in my league went bot last Sunday. He was human controlled in league games Saturday, though he didn't set his lineup, and was a bot Sunday night. I haven't spent a lot of time studying it, but I think you get the full 21 days and maybe plus 1. There may be a certain time of the day that teams go bot. If this is the case it could be something like the first "bot time" after 504 hours of inactivity.
