Then ask... as you can see from reading the forum they're very good at replying to most questions here in the forums. Not to mention the fact that I see a reply from a Dev EVERY day. Far more active than any other game I've ever played.

Well OK...
To the powers that be.
I'm writing an article on the MMORPG games that have sprung up in the last few years that are geared to the sports enthusiast in simulation games and their fans. The investigations are geared to choosing some fans of the "real-life" game/sporting event in question, players of various levels, and coaches of various levels. Then questions that arise from the test players/observers are relaid to the developer/programmer to have information as the where the game has been, where its going, and how its being improved to be a better game for those that wish to play them. There is an honest evaluation of the game from these perspectives and a grade given as to the following areas.
1.) Cost (of playing the game)
2.) realism ( is it truly a sim or a randomizing engine)
3.) escape(the addict factor)
4.) time constraints (how much time must be spentto play the game
5.) graphics (of the actual game/match/competition)
6.) player interaction (forums, PMs, Email etc.)
7.) Fun factor (do the players really enjoy the experience and to what level

These are taken and then a final grade based on the A,B,C,D,F scale.

The complaints/suggestions by the "testers/observers" of the game are then given to the developer/Programmer and answers are given as to bugs/fixes/changes that may occur on their part.

The article is short for each of the many games in the market and will be either posted on websites, magazines, or forums that deal with the area of interest, in its entirety, or in part, so that consumers/game enthusiasts can make an intelligent informed decision as to which game they wish to purchase/play/frequent.

So if the guys who run this thing can either post on here, or email me, they do have that info when I first logged onto here, that would be great. and seeing as how it's now on the forums, anyone want to post on here for me to see their thoughts as well on this game, and this game only, I'll be happy to have more info for the article.
As the article is not written by a particular magazine, webzine, or blog space I cannot give at the present time which site, mag, or spot it is that this is being written for.

This is why I wanted to have them contact me directly.
TD_on_the_TO- what is your evaluation of this game? My issue is trying to make a living at writing articles for some major magazinesLast edited on 2008-12-14 at 22:05

"a game that's not even run by the country that invented the game....riiiiiight"

Your quote from the other post you made.
I'm not sure I would give any review you write any kind of credence to be honest.

I had thought you had in game questions and had not realized it was something of such specific nature. Your initial post was rather candid. At any rate, I'm sure they will get in touch with you.

As for the rest of the GI community we should probably give him the benefit of doubt and not flame him. Looks like it would be an interesting study.

Yes, that was made to see fan support of the site.. It is the not my intention to downgrade. It is only an attempt to see if someone flamed. Seems some have. As to credence; most sites, magazines, and blogs welcome feedback from articles written. If you disagree with anything written by myself or others in these publications than feel free to write in and give your own take on the game.

*edit: I once just posted a "This game sucks!" post on a site and immediately, was banned from the game. It's better to throw a comment like that one in than to flat out claim hating a site. :edit*

I read your other topic and you started;

__________________________________________________________
So what your telling me is...I have to pay the game designer/programmer/company money, to do any game planning? and I'm expected to see in 3 days if it's worth to pay for a game that's not even run by the country that invented the game....riiiiiight

So how long has this game been going on?
Who are the programmers and how much football experience do they have?
__________________________________________________________

And I might add that if you are who you want us to think you are....your doing a pretty poor job of selling yourself just by the lack of research of the game on your part.

Change you profession and while your looking for another job.....enjoy this game, FOR FREE!!
