I've read a few guides, now looking some personal experiences on coaches.

My stadium is starting to take shape and I'm now looking towards next season and improving my teams fitness abilities.

Is hiring a 20 fitness coach with a fitness center cost effective and a decent basis to start improving player stats? Or is training center the way to go, albeit out of price range for a while.

Cheers guys,

Doc

Thats what I did. I find that once you train up a players physical attributes, you then at least know where his physicals have capped and what position his physicals best suit. The quicker you do this, the quicker they will be able to contribute and then you can focus on their positional attributes and making them a better player.

So I would recommend getting the fitness centre and having 20 in physical coaches as early as possible. Then when you are happy with the majority of your teams physicals, then start looking at getting a training hall or better positional coaches (funds permitting obviously).

That is very sound advice, IMO. It's not what I did when I was starting off - but I wouldn't do the same things again anyway! I worked on a few players (QB, RB, WR) to get into a position to win early, but then realised that was not the way to sustained success and was going to get expensive very quickly and changed to work on the physicals. Luckily I did so early enough.

The good thing about the Training Hall is that you get the extra training points regardless of what you are training - but that could be down the line a bit for you.

How can you tell that a players fitness attributes are maxed out?

Hi Sam. If there is a red star beside the attribute on the profile screen or on the right of the attribute in the training details screen then it's maxed out.
