Yep! Defensive Line for me too.

Unless you need a Running back.

He won't be played immediately. I'm gonna train him up. Just seeing if his Intelligence was high enough to play Safety. I need a DL trainee too, so I could go that way. Just liked his Catching for DB purposes.

Yeah that is a valid argument.

But he is good all round...I like Footwork/Strength and Tackling in Defensive Linemen. Get the Strength up and you are onto a winner

I totally agree with Guru. It will take too long time to improve his vision and his positioning, besides his INT will be still low so I think he wont be able to play safety. Train him as a future good DL

I would add specifically play him DT as the lower speed would be a hinderance at DE, in my opinion.

Hi

SKILLS
Positioning 8 Tackling 8 Punting 6
Vision 5 Blocking 5 Speed 8
Intelligence 1 Passing 1 Strength 15
Footwork 6 Catching 3 Agility 2
Carrying 6 Kicking 5 Stamina 2
OTHER
Teamwork 11 Consistency 15

Age : 16years old Talent : 3 stars and half

There is one of my defensive players. I actually need CBs and SFs because I dont have good players in tactical, it's absolutely my team's weak point! ... So I was thinking playing him as CB or SF but his INT makes me really hesitate! But his tactical skills are the best I have in my team. I know he certainly would be better as DL with his tackling footwork and strength but my back field defense would be really bad then. I think with training he could become a good CB or SF, he's young and maybe his tactical skills will compensate his very low INT !?
What would you do ?
Thanks guys

Lack of agility and speed makes me question CB a little, although for myself, Intelligence does not really matter at this position.

I think you are right - this guy is a great DL. But like you said, you need players to fill your secondary. Hmmmmz....

Safety, for me, would require some Intllience. Strong Safety would be your best bet, but overall, it really does boil down to what you need and where.

Do your current Safeties miss tackles? Do your corrent Corners give up all of the passing yardage, or are your Outside LB's not covering the oppositions TE's?

Give me a little more info regarding matches

EDIT: I assume it is Joakim?

Your most recent match versus Vogar Snakes, the opposition gained 163 passing yards. This was due to one WR! Guess who was covering him? The guy that you apparently need in the backfield

I think that WR's will out run him with that low speed. however he looks really good as a DL with 8 tackling and 8 positioning. The secondary is hard to fill for everyone, keep at it
