Is it worth training my db's and linebackers catching skills to try to get more interceptions or is there no point as its random

The better QB/receiver the opponent has, the more interceptions occur. That´s how the current enginge works.

Glad to be helpful.

Logic dictates it should be the opposite way, the better QB/receiver the less probability of interception, but the engine only counts interceptions as completed passes, that´s the reason

That's odd. Why don't they change that? The better you're QB can pass the bigger the change is at an interception?

I know it´s odd, but that is how this game is. It´s one of the many things that the current game engine needs to change. Unfortunately I think we might never get the solution

They are just to lazy to do anything about it. So that means the best is to not train passing more then vision etc.

besides, training vision and passing at the same level will help keep your qb cost down
