Is it possible to change positions? Because my kicker currently has the best attributes and would make a much better QB or RB than what I have now

Yes.

Natural Positions are generated at random.

The way to do it is just play the player at the position you want him to play. Each game played will cause that position rating to go up. When the new position rating is higher then the previous "best position" then their natural position will change.

so it's a good idea to just put everyone at whatever position they are best at instead of just going with what they are to begin with?

Total opinion on that Mav, Some have adapated their training to Nat Pos and won, others have adjusted layers Nat Pos to their training. Both seem to be valid.

okay well I used the spreadsheet and sort thing to try to figure out where everyone would start out the best at, I pretty much ended up switching my offensive guys with my defensive guys though. Then I am gonna train based off their new position.
