So, after almost a year in the game, I've started to get to the position where a number of my players are reaching (good) speed and stamina caps.

Two questions for more experienced managers: -

1) Should you then 'focus on stamina' or move to developing other skills

2) If you do focus on stamina, how high do you go (I have heard there is a bug if you hit 20 stamina on any player?)

go from 8 to 12..

Defiantly keep developing the stamina until maxed.

To keep the answers different I will say dont train stamina at all.

I never trained stamina for my players, and I have never seen any benefit for my opponents.

I go for 8-10 - if needed. Otherwise, I just make sure my players don't have under 3.

But I would not use a year to get them to 20.

Never go to 20, there is a bug with 20 stamina!
19 should be MAX, if you go that way.

i go for 10 then after all other skills are trained to the level i want and i have nothing else worth training go back to it, but never to 20

Offense:

QB:
Primary: Passing. Vision. Intelligence.
Secondary: Footwork. Agility. Strength.


WR:
Primary: Catching. Strength. Agility.
Secondary: Speed. Vision. Footwork.

RB:
Primary: Carrying. Agility. Blocking.
Secondary: Strength. Footwork. Speed.

FB:
Primary: Blocking. Strength. Carrying.
Secondary: Speed. Footwork. Agility.

TE:
Primary: Blocking. Catching. Strength.
Secondary: Footwork. Agility. Speed.

OL:
