Does scouting just give you the training details that you can see for your own players or does that $2k buy you more than that?

Is it worth it?

Thanks,

Steve

It gives you everything you'd see on your own players first page regarding skills.

Maybe I'm being dense, but isn't that only talent?

Is that worth it?

It Gives you all the info from the Talent Skills Coaching reports and weather the player is healthy so its worth it if its a player you looking to buy or just trying to find out who a teams major play maker is

i use it mainly for bidding on guys, don't want to pay big bucks on a player with 1 talent.

But at this stage of the game having 1 talent only means that they'll have a skill cap of 12... it'll be a while before we get anyone to that level so it's really pointless to buy scout reports right now. Just find players with good skills and buy them without worrying about their talent. Talent is only something you'll have to worry about in a season or 2.

Talent is certainly something to keep in mind for future players, particularly if you have a position where you want someone with a higher cap (like the skill positions, QB, HB, WR). Scout is more useful when scouting opponent players, because you can't see their attributes like you can a guy you are bidding for.

Also, when a player is on the transfer list, it does show his current fitness level.
