Sort your roster and set your lineup. Just because a player is listed at QB, for example, doesn't mean he's the best player to play QB on your team. Players can change position if you play them at the position enough. Find the positions best suited for the players and play them at those positions. Against bot teams, set your orders to run 90%. Leave defense orders at default (pass, pass, run, run I believe). Set your training orders before tomorrow night. Training will take place at 4:00 game time which is usually around 9:00pm Central time, but may be a bit different now due to time change differences.

no problem. Also, if you haven't done so already, schedule a friendly for Monday, preferably away.

From FAQ.

1. Grid-Iron week
Here are the main events that happen in Grid-Iron world (server time):
Daily/weekly update
Weather update - Every day at midnight
Transfers - Every day at 01:00 AM
Construction update - Every day at 00:30 AM
Injuries (Healing) - Every day at 02:00
Training / Youth players pull reset - Every Friday at 04:00 AM
Economy update (plus wages, income and expenses) - Every Wednesday at 04:00 AM
Matches
League games - Saturday/Sunday
Regional Cup games - Tuesday/Wednesday
Friendly games - Monday
AFLC International games - Thursday

Africa & Arab peninsula - at 15:00
Asia - at 07:30
Atlantic & Scandinavian Europe - at 12:00
Central & South America - at 21:00
Central Europe - at 15:00
Eastern Europe - at 12:00
Europe - Balkan region - at 16:30
North America - at 21:00
Oceania - at 07:30

Go to 'Club' at top, then 'Training' on the side. You can adjust the training for each player. You can also adjust rest limit and intensity. Many are tempted to train on Maximum, but keep it on Average. What you gain when training hard is more than offset by what you lose. It's just not worth it.
You can also adjust each players training on the player page near the bottom. At this point, training for you will be very slow and will be until you can afford some coaches and facilities. In my opinion, there are two routes you can go with training at this point.
1) Train all players on Fitness - All Skills (this is the method I prefer). Until you get coaches and fitness center, it will take to much time to figure out speed and strength caps, so focus training is pretty much wasted at this point.
2) Focus train each player at the primary skill for each position when you decide where they are playing. QB - Passing, RB - Carrying, WR and TE - Catching, OL and STCB - Blocking, DL, LB and GN - Tackling, CB and SF - Positioning, PK - Kicking (all), KR - Agility. Pick a limit number (7 for me) and don't go over that number until you get good money coming in. <Again, others may differ on primary skills>

I'm in a friendly cup and my friendlies are scheduled until the end of the NFL season. Sorry. But I think there are openings in our friendly cup if you are interested.

Contact Clint or post in the above thread. I think the Broncos are still available and there maybe another team as well.
