I thought I'd start a new topic to discuss stamina. How important is it, and is it more important for certain positions than others? It's at least a stat that we somewhat understand in that it's the player's endurance. Common sense would dictate that a player with 1 stamina wouldn't be able to play very well for a full 60 minutes. However, by using the same common sense, not every position would completely necessitate 20 stamina, though it certainly may not hurt.

Going by complete conjecture, nothing I've seen in game yet, these are how I'd rank positions more dependent on high stamina.

Ranking from most in need of stamina to least (again, just guesses)
1) Offensive Lineman, Defensive Lineman
2) Running Backs (rank higher in run-heavy offense), Tight Ends, Safeties, Cornerbacks, Linebackers
3) Quarterbacks (rank them higher in pass-heavy offenses), Wide Receivers
4) Kickers

I also understand that while this may hold true in real football (even in real football my rankings could be debated), it doesn't necessarily mean it necessarily correlates to the game sim. Anyone else have thoughts, or even better examples you've seen in sims that could show some insight?

This doesn't help whatsoever, but I will be training my players to 20 Stamina first

I intend to make my team physically sound and then concentrate on their skills.

This is how I see it - Positional Rating and Team Chemistry can only be gained through playing matches.

Consistency is well, a consant. It is fixed.

Leaving Positional Stats and Stamina the only factors that you can train.

By maxing out Stamina, I only have one problem: Primary/Secondary Skills. Sure, I may lose a few games, but if all my players have 20 Stamina, 5 Stars in Positioning Rating, 5 Stars in Team Chemistry and Consistency of no less than 17(which is almost the case now), I only have one area to improve.

I am doing this because Stamina seems to be a huge factor. We have no hard evidence to prove this, but I'm on the Stamina train

Indeed. I am the experiment team, as unfortunately, I will not be as active as now from June onwards. Also, around December I am possibly travelling the globe.

I'm leaning towards just the 4th quarter. Not a single missed tackle score is tied at 0 and then all of a sudden:

Spencer Worden runs 66 yards for a TOUCHDOWN! Missed tackle - Delbert Whitlow, Bennie Harshbarger and Chet Foshee.

All 3 of my defenders have 7 tackle and 7 stamina.
