Has anyone from the Admin dept come out to say that when the FB is not given the ball they do serve as a blocker for the HB? I know it's logical for us to assume this is the case, but has anyone heard anything definitive? Without the ability to 'watch' the game or see statistics that indicate the number of blocks thrown we will never know for sure unless someone from the Admin dept. comes out and lets us know this is the case... Does anyone know for sure? Or does everyone just assume this is the case?

yes admins have stated FBs block when they don't have the ball. no specific thread for you though it was very very early on.
