Is there a way to see what your opponent's formation is before a match? I see the dummy side of the field, but it's always set up in a basic 4-3 for defense and I-formation for offense. Surely all teams can't be set up that way.

As I understand it you can't view how they are set up. What I'd really like to know is if there's a way to see how they were set up for previous games. Would sure make game planning more fun etc...

I totally agree. I also think, there's should be more tactical option like: On 4th down rush the ball while: there's less than 10minutes to end game and I lose, or something like that.

Hmm, I'm not so sure on this. Surely it gives a huge advantage to anyone who can be online at whatever the match settings cut off time is over someone who can't, as they can show 1 formation all week and then change to another 1 min before cut off.

Maybe you right, but i think there will be also available to see previous matches, and it'll make you possible to do thorugh analysis of opponent.

Oooops. I misread the initial post!

You will be able to see where your opponent lines his players up from Past Matches, but not just before matches...

In the stats tab of each game eport you can learn what positions he has, just not where...

I just figured that out today, but thanks guys. It's fine. At least I can see if the guy plays 3 running backs or 4 wide receivers, or runs a nickel defense. Those are the kinds of things you should be able to know going into a game, and now that I know how to figure that out, I will.
