Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone can give me advice on what training intensity to go with? Is going for maximum intensity wise for the extra training points, or not worthwhile energy wise?

Cheers in advance!

I think most managers stay at average.
Higher intensity will drain your players energy and if it drops under 90% it will have a significent effect on the performance.

It is possible to play with Maximum and Average in some weeks of time to get a few extra training points, but i think it's not worth the effort. At least not once you have the full coaches and facilities.
In the beginning it might make sense. Depends on your willing to monitor that stuff.

Definitely stay at average training. If you go with max you get an extra 6 training pts per training session. These six points are divided along with the rest of the training pts among the skills in the area you are training in. This means you are gaining at best, about 4 pts for a focused skill training session. It takes 100 training pts to increase a skill 1 pt. So with the added 4 pts, a skill will increase 1 extra pt every 25 weeks. Again, this is the best case scenario. Most other skills will increase 1 extra pt every 33 weeks. I just don't see any way where this is worth the amount of energy you lose.

Hmm, what exactly is energy used for apart from training?

energy is used in the matches.
Low energy = worse performance

Oh yep. But it seems that it doesn't decrease after matches.

Yeah, you're right. The level of energy is only determined on friday with the training update.
That energy level has an influence on the ingame-rating of a player. Matches doesn't have an influence on the energy level....like in real football
