How to line up your safeties?

What's the best way to line up your safeties?

I had been playing SS-left, FS-right, but am wondering if they should be both center or at least one in the center.

Does the strong safety in Grid-Iron act like in RL, provide more run support where the free safety is just a deep man?

No idea on your first question. I guess this is just personally preference. Perhaps next season - when we can see where our opponents are positioning their player - this will be more neccessary.

As for the second question, I believe the Strong Safety gets more tackles in a game than the Free Safety. I believe this is due to the fact that when the Running Back is through the line and the Linebackers, the Strong Safety is the next man he meets.

Guru.

it could also be due to the fact that the SS is the only one who's tackles are truly registered. the FS should be involved in more pass coverage.

Since most teams run a LOT more than they pass, you should put both at SS, one left and one right.

Can you only run left or right, never up the middle?
