Just to clarify. My research shows that there is no correlation between the length of a youth pulls name and his talent.

This analysis is based on 444 recorded youth pulls since season 8.

All I can say is that things look... 'random'.

Also, I am making analysis on speed compaired to quality, and here - again - it looks random and not to be related.

It's a small sample, admittedly, but I've found that choosing the youth player I'm connected to on LinkedIn has proved very successful.

It's such a pity I've only encountered one in ten years. Maybe I should try and build my network.

A 1980s tv actor
The husband of a TV chef
A random on twitter (seemed a bit of a knob)
A Sunderland footballer.

I went for the husband of the TV chef. 3.5 stars, 18 Intelligence. Sadly not enough to earn a stay.
