My advice is go over to Sandusky. There lies one of the best amusement parks in the world with a really amazing wooden roller coaster called the son of the beast! Anyways, good luck and I'll mention Jan 24 is the playoffs buckeye! They end in February!

Small correction though, the beast and son of the beast are not Cedar Point rides, they're King's Island rides (just outside Cincinnatti/Dayton area). But Cedar Point IS the best roller-coaster park in the world, though I am biased living just an hour from there.

About 2 hours myself. But I've heard people from all over say it's the best.

How lucky are people in Ohio to have 2 of the better amusement parks in our state? I've never been to Kings Island, but I hear it's pretty good too. Add in the football hall of fame, 8 D1A college teams, 2 NFL teams, and three of the top 20 cities in population in the country, and there is hardly a day that you can't find something to do. Unless you live where I do when not at school, then all you get is farm land.

Just depends on what you're looking for. Cedar Point, the one that has been voted the best on many occasions, is in Sandusky. It's just the rides you mentioned aren't, and for some reason I didn't catch it.

As often as they build new rides up there, I just figured they were new and I hadn't seen them yet.

Not sure how much free times you guys will get while in Canton, but if you get some(or if your team goes together), I suggest making a stop at the Hall of Fame. Went a few years ago, it's something that every football fan has to see at least once in their life.

Now that I open the site, I see it's being played at Fawcett Stadium. Right next to the Hall of Fame and the site of numerous great Ohio HS state finals games and the Hall of Fame game every August.

Good luck and hopefully some of it will be on ESPN like you said it might! Always good to see any kind of football in the offseason, and this looks like a great event.

Yea, i hope we make it far... panama is a force
