Some clear surprises at the top and the bottom. Some teams have had a very hard schedule for the 1st few weeks. But the standings should equalize itself by week 6 or so.

I doubt also that we will have anybody going bot this season. So it will be a scramble all season until the end.

I'll be happy as long as I stay .500 or higher.

Week 4.

Godzillas Raiders 48-42 Sydney Saviours
Wow! What a pass-o-thon. After all those passing TDs through the defenses, then the defenses woke up with 5 minutes left in the 4th, and in the end it took 20 minutes of overtime to decide the game.

Dunedin Huskies 21-35 Kamikaze
Close game, Kamikaze only locked in with minutes left in the 4th.

Sunshine Coast Buccaneers 21-45 Slumbering Skink
Thought Skinks might lose this in the 1st half. But the Bucs fell asleep in the 3rd quarter and the Skinks threw 3 TDs, then were able to cruise home for the win in the 4th.

Bucs vs Kamikaze have been good games. Last year saw 1 win each with 14-3 and 14-10. I feel a rivalary coming on!

Indeed! Though the game would've been close like the Bucs vs Kamikaze which the score blew out too.

Week 5.

Edwardstown Wolverines 35-28 Dunedin Huskies
Wolverines threw 2 TDs in the 4th quarter to win the match. Was anyones games up until the last few minutes.

Sydney Saviours 28-21 Turkey Slappers
Couldn't pick a winner until the last few minutes. Scores were close all game.

Slumbering Skink 28-49 Melbourne 49ers
Wow! Thought this would have been closer. 49ers Jumped to an early points lead, and then kept it until the end of the match.

Kamikaze 42-10 Sunshine Coast Buccaneers
Thought this game might have been closer. Bucs threw 3 INTs and Kamikaze threw 5 TDs in the 1st half to punish them. This allowed Kamikaze to cruise to victory. Bucs outplayed them in the 2nd half, but didn't matter being down 35 points at halftime.
