Its important for pretty much every position.

depends on the position.
Though it doesn't hurt to have highly agile players, agility is not the first non physical skill I d train except for potential Defensive ends(DE).

what positions are the ones that need more agility?

1>DE,
1.5>CB &OLB& SF &MLB,
2> G,
2.5>QB,
3>WR & RB & KR,
4>DT,
5>OL
in that order

thank you very much

Well ideally you would want to read
"PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING! "
http://grid-iron.org/index.php?page=community&subpage=viewt&t=4096

and
"A Few Game Engine Breakthroughs"
http://grid-iron.org/index.php?page=community&subpage=viewt&t=1378

before you start training.

The first thread has multiple opinions. So you can either decide to pick one of them or form your own.

P.S. Looks like you have been in GI for a while. I mentioned those threads just in case you had not yet seen/read them.

EDIT: All these answers are based on what I have seen work for me. If you are a vet /experienced noob who believes these answers are wrong and hence need examples to prove/ disprove anything, to put it nicely, you can go take a number.

I was browsing someone's team yesterday and noticed one guy who earned over 80K. I scouted him and was surprised to find he only had four skills trained to double figures:

Speed&Strength (these don't affect wages, right?)
Tackling: 12
Agility: 19.

Do specific skills "cost" more in terms of wages, or is it simply a matter of any skill that reaches a certain point will trigger a fixed wage rise?

And how true is the statement "If you have one skill trained to 19 your wages won't go much higher if you train the other skills to 19"?

And why would someone have trained agility to 19 but left other relevant-to-the-player's-position skills at only 9? I figure he must have a lot of faith in agility as a skill.

Wage is pretty much related to the highest non-physical (strength, speed, stamina) ability - hence the general advice being to keep the primary skills for a position reasonably balanced, in order to keep wages down for as long as possible.

No.
Very true, although the cost can fluctuate from season to season...just not by very much.
Either he really liked Agility or was an inactive manager that just left it training the same thing not necessarily on purpose.

kind of "bug"?

Well - sure for me factors like "intelligence" and "consistency" should have an effect to salara - but this is my (and maybe your) point of view of a more sophisticated salary calculation

But please - its not even close to "kind of bug" - dont try to "bug" everything just to point on "how totally bugged" the game is - its bugged enough anyway we all know this - my 5 cent

If that is a bug, then there will be some very expensive youth pulls when they fix it.
