You can't give up your post! Who would be mod? Buckeye I guess.

If he gave it up and they asked me, I'd have to respectfully decline. I'm in the same position as Guru. Too much work with school, just got a job(albeit an easy one).

I think Guru is doing a great job though!

Agreed, Guru has done an exemplary job and keeps me from being a hothead from time to time. I hope you're kidding with the quitting thing man I'd go nuts

I didn't find any search function, I will never go through all the threads just because there is no search function. If you can't stand that newbies ask question maybe you should consider to step aside as a moderator, no offence.

Off topic: Your answer wasn't what I were looking for, if you havn't anything interesting to say then leave, if you got problems with my attitude or language send me a private message..

Thank you for those fre answers I got =)

I really hope this wasn't directed at me, because I do believe we are allowed to respond to whatever the post has turned to.

In any event, I digress, There is not a "fair" way to assign new teams. There is an equitable way, which is to assign people new teams according to the rules every time.

Someone is going to feel jilted because player A got bot team A in 1st and player B got bot team B in last, but honestly if we start filling leagues by some kind of preferential treatment filter wouldn't that then be even MORE unfair?

You'll be fine in a season or so

Look dude, admittedly I didn't respond to your post to kindly. We all have bad days. Unfortunately, I have a personality too, as I don't want to become a robot like other Moderators on other games. Perhaps you would like me to be like that, I do not.

I didn't understand what this meant.....

I have some ideas, but please enlighten me.

Good luck getting promoted. The sooner the bots relegate the better

Kind regards,

Guru.

I'm also questioning the system were you get other players teams, you may get a team with 8 losses, or 8 wins. It's isn't fair to anyone..

It really **** me of knowing that even if I win all my games, I may not be able to win just because someone lost games with this team before I got it.

It depends how and when you join I guess. I joined, got a team at the start of the season and dragged them to the top of my division with a (current)12-0 record, whether my record ended up been 12-0 or 0-12, this is the first season, look on it as a learning experience, and make next season the season you make your team known.

Well - I can follow the arguments from all sides. I've seen users owning a team and leaving the game after they realized that they "bought" a looser team. I can understand that they are disappointed.
And I fear that the total numbers of members will decrease as closer we come to season end.
On the other hand: they came late and have to take what is available. But they are right to say: "hey - I took control over a team which was managed poorly before and I've to pay for this now. But it is not my responsibilty!" They are right again.
On the other hand: I really regret that lots of people complaining, are not willing to spend a little amount of money to become a supporter.
So my suggestion is: Take a little Sub-Suporter fee as a comsumption that you develop a tool that new members can choose a team after checking their standings and roster.
we should name this "entrence fee" :-)

I would gladly buy supporter for a year but I don't have a VISA Card. In most games there other options like Text-message from your phone or a phone call.

I don't intend to get myself a VISA Card just because of a game =)

I was a bit rash when I posted this note, But I got a bit annoyed about being put way down in leauges and then someone get hold of the team above me.

With that many botteams in our leauge he probably won't loose two games. Just one, against me

I may be wrong, but I believe they are working on getting more ways to buy a supporter in the future. Not sure exactly what they're looking at, but I'm pretty sure they are looking at it.

But I don't blame you, I wouldn't get a card just for a game either, especially when the supporter gives you no clear advantage. You can win just as easy without it, it's just nice to have if you can get it.

That sounds nice, where can I find information about the leauges?

How long a season is, how long offseason is etc.

Checked FAQ but I didn't find anything,
