Weird. It's going to be difficult to see any trends...Damn!

I think it's just luck, I have a few guys with int's and their skills are polar opposites.

Positioning 6 Tackling 1 Punting 2
Vision 1 Blocking 4 Speed 13
Intelligence 8 Passing 4 Strength 13
Footwork 2 Catching 4 Agility 2
Carrying 6 Kicking 4 Stamina 1

OTHER
Teamwork 18 Consistency 10

Positioning 4 Tackling 8 Punting 3
Vision 4 Blocking 5 Speed 15
Intelligence 4 Passing 1 Strength 11
Footwork 2 Catching 3 Agility 3
Carrying 6 Kicking 1 Stamina 1

OTHER
Teamwork 5 Consistency 5

I think we would probably be safe to say that things like intelligence, catching, and vision help, but at the end of the day, just like in real life, luck and being in the right spot can change a lot.

Some of the best catching corners in the NFL never intercept passes, while safeties and linebackers with hands of stone get them off of tips. So far, it seems like this game may be very similar, although it's hard to tell for sure.

I feel the same goes at all positions, in this game. I've had killer rb's with lousey skills and poor rb's with great skill(on paper).

It's all a crapshoot, so far. I'm done going crazy trying to find a trend and I'll just let my over achievers start every week and let them gain more experience.

Thank you for paying to scout him Nemesis.

Greatly appreciated.

A couple more Scout Reports wouldn't go amiss

Weird....Going by Nemesis's Scout Report, it would seem Positioning and Catching are big factors. However, this is the guy who intercepted me a while back:

Linebacker
27 years old
Positioning : 4 Speed : 11 Strength : 12 Agility : 5 Tackling : 6
Catching : 1 Passing : 5 Intelligence : 20 Vision : 2 Carrying : 7
Blocking : 7 Stamina : 3 Footwork : 2 Kicking : 5 Punting : 6

meh 3.5K is not much i currently have 900K and im trying to figure what to do with it. my stadium is already at 3000ish.

I honestly think position and vision have to play a major role in the ability to knock down a ball or intercept it. im currently on the hunt for a cheaps lb for friendlies that has pretty much only has those two stats and see how he does in my friendlies.

If you get such a player and use him, let me know how he performs
