I really hope you take him down, though watch out for Poo Choo and Seattle. They're looking pretty nice!

I gotta admit, I was nervous that Oakland was going to try to pass on me and that having no CBs was going to cost me ... only half right apparently. Surprised at how well my defense did. Hopefully I can keep this going in two weeks against Toledo. Should be a good game.

Oh, and jinto, for the record both Mercutioh and I thought you had a great chance of winning that game. I believe Mercutioh referred to Oakland as a "paper dragon" several times in our daily e-mail session...

Congratz man! And congratz to all of you who are in the cup and soon to be beaten by Mercutioh or I.

Thanks...though i didnt put much hope into my defense i had drawn up but things are coming together but still trying to find a team with the guys we have

The Winnipeg Vs. Toledo Match
Toledo 38-34. I have to say that I'm going really harsh on winnipeg's defense by saying they'll give up 38, but how are they supposed to stop running and passing. Nothing wrong with giving Shaun Cole the rock, or so his stats say: 363 attempts for 2,837 yards and 27 TD's. Sure, he might fumble a bit, but that shouldn't set them back. I say that because they've got Jason Weilland bailing them out with his 245 attempts for 2,022 yards and 25 rushes for 201 yards and 2 rushing TD's. Now for winnipeg: Angel Bistodeau's debut at QB was very exciting with 14 completions on 24 attempts for 531 yards and 5 TD's. However, it was against sykesville, a bot who's not going anywhere. I don't think he'll risk his 7-2 league record against division leader the Atomic Peanuts (Or at least I hope not, because I really need him to win that one.)(Also note that while he's been owner he has gone 7-2, he just took over a bad team.) Orlando Singh has also been a huge help, with 277 rushes for 2,310 yards and 25 TD's. I think this could be a shoot-out, but I think squish and his defense will prevail!

The Teufel Vs. Safugnoff Match
35-34 Teufel. What we've got here is a great match between QB's with more then adequate RB helpers. Levi Bickford trying to lead Teufel into the sweet, sweet final 4. His stats say he can do it: 221 passes for 1,802 yards and 22 rushes for 546 yards and 7 rushing TD's. His stats haven't seen underdog above-par safugnoff though. Old Adolph Kantor looks to feel the buzz of the final 4 in what could be his penultimate season as he's 30. His trusty arm has handed his team 1,202 yards after letting the ball go 204 times. His legs have brought the team 122 more rushing yards in 17 attemps, and two of those rushing tries have ended in paydirt. Now for rushing: Teufel's Rolf Moore has 1,959 yards after holding it 171 times, and scorine 24 times. It's very strange though, as he has 1 catch for 65 yards and a recieving long of 0? Anyways, Safugnoff used Shawn Holcomb as there RB in their last match, so we'll name him their starting RB. He has ran the ball 38 times for 122 yards and a TD. I think Kantor will be very sad to see the scoreboard after the end of the game seeing that despite his best efforts his defense and running game didn't give him enough support and 1 point was the downfall if his amazing cup run.

That's teufel's Rolf Moore with his messed up recieving stats...

The Gila Monsters Vs. Seattle Shazam Match
14-6 Gila. Well, I guess gila finally decided to ditch Rudolph Rains. That's good news for them, as the new guy, Steven Varhart, has 10 passes for 175 yards. He's done well on defense, but they needed a QB a lot more then they needed a good defnsive guy, as they already have a bone crushing defense. Hollis Willis has 112 rushes for 960 yards and also looks to be the new guy, except at RB this time. Meanwhile, an excellent Seattle club has a great defense to stack up against this opposing offense. With their offense they bring to the field an excellent running game led by Ryan Isaac who with him has 2,379 yards on 210 attempts, and 26 TD's. Kurt Harness has thrown for 1,720 in 121 rushes. They both look like they could be huge threats as they lack nothing, so if I'm wrong I won't be surprised.

The Reservoir Docs Vs. Poo Choo Express Match
20-10 Reservoir. Reservoir and Poo Choo both look spectacular. Reservoir has a deadly and effective passing game with Reginald DeWeese playing the role of Signal-Caller. He's passed for 197 times for 1,745 yards, which will be tough to stop. That's accommodated with the none-to-shabby William Mooorman, who's taken the ball 183 times, and has 1,631 to show for it. The defense is the thing that should help them win though, as it shut-out Boise State last cup round. Poo Choo won't be shut-out though, as not only would Jarod Dicks be nice on most teams with his 1,357 passing yards in 178 yards, but he has Jeromy Mitchum accommadating his passing game with 188 rushes for 2,647 yards and 32 TD's. Both teams have a definite chance, but I think reservoir's got this one!
