Am i getting about the right sort of attendance for my stadium? cause im actually losing money when i play friendlies, and only getting like 7-8k attendance in a 66k stadium. I know im low in the division but surely it shouldn't have that much of an affect on it?

You are in 7th position, so that really hurts your attendance.

Does it really hurt that much? surely that should be for league matches only.

Bah the pros and cons of a rebuilding year.

How can you possibly lose money by playing a friendly??? Are there hidden travel expenses or something

I'm guessing he means expanding the stadium costs + maintenance in order to get bigger crowds, only to find out it wasn't the case.

The stadium cost is easy covered by the league matches, so as such a manager would never loose money on friendlies. With that said you might "loose" money if you compare a mediocre performance during a rebuilding phase between two different size stadium. The big stadium will probably not bring in as much cash as a "perfect" friendly stadium.

A "perfect" friendly stadium got all the VIP and Executive seats with a limited amount of regular seats.

This would only make sense if the team is not a contender, since a decent performance by a team will always result in more money over the season from the big stadium.

fixed that for you!

ideal is max vip execs for friendlies attendance caps out around 14-15k and that is if you are in good standing in league and have good form! most games will get 9k-12kLast edited on 2010-11-22 at 20:32

If you want to correct it, then you need to do it correctly and type 1000 seats

And if we should be really picky then we should also analyse the amount executive seats that a stadium should have to maximise the income when the attendance is limited to less than 10,000, but lets be fair that would just confuse more than being helpful

Long long ago I checked a few Docs Badgers friendly games and less than 13000 tickets were sold. The max at my stadium was 10000ish

So in general I guess a stadium with 3500 vip+ 1000 reg +6000ish exec would probably net me the highest friendly income.

When i said i lost money, this morning i had $ 5,005,000 (about) now after my friendly i have $ 4,983,307

I didn't look at maintenance and miscellaneous expenditure before the match, but im sure about overall money going down. Do i have to pay maintenance on the day of the friendly game or not?
